Port Houston and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are investing $876 million in expanding the Houston Ship Channel. This expansion will bring more traffic to the region and more pollution with it. The Houston area is already overburdened with air pollution. Communities along the Ship Channel will suffer if the Army Corps and Port Houston don’t reduce air pollution from this new project. The Army Corps and Port Houston are putting industry before people. It’s time to demand investment in our air quality and our health.
Join us in asking U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to reduce pollution from this project.
