Don’t Fix the Impeachment Trial for Trump
President Donald Trump has been impeached, with more House members than in any time in history finding him guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.
However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has openly vowed “total coordination” with Trump during the Senate trial.

President Donald Trump’s abuse of power, corruption and disdain for constitutional values have been evident since he first took office.
Now that he has been impeached, he must receive a fair trial.
That means that the person overseeing the trial cannot pledge “total coordination” with the defendant.
No one is above the law. Do your job properly and fairly.
