Texas coal-fired power plants contribute pollution that harms our health and destroys the view at our treasured national park lands. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is revising its plan to reduce haze, but – as it is currently drafted – it calls for no new emissions reductions. This is not acceptable.
What should TCEQ do?
Air pollution from coal-fired power plants kills hundreds of Texans every year, and obscures views on our protected lands. TCEQ needs to create a plan that works to reduce pollution.
Join us in asking the TCEQ to get tough on haze to protect our scenic lands and our health.
