Tell Congress: Don’t let the wealthy and corporations avoid paying taxes!

 

The House of Representatives could vote as soon as today on a bill to remove $72 billion in IRS funding that will keep the agency from being better able to crack down on tax evasion by the ultra-rich and corporations.

Call your member of Congress: Tell them to vote *against* this bill and hold wealthy tax cheats accountable.

"My name is ______ and I live in CITY, STATE.  I’m calling because I’m concerned about the “Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act”.

This bill would remove a major chunk of funding for the IRS and prevent the agency from being better able to ensure the ultra-rich and corporations pay their taxes that are due.

Please stand up for hardworking families by voting against this bill. The IRS needs these resources not only to crack down on wealthy tax cheats but also to provide important services to everyday taxpayers.
