Tell Your Senators: Improve and Expand Medicare and Lower Drug Prices

Time is of the essence — the Senate is finalizing their budget bill as we speak. Please call your senators right away to make sure they include improvements to Medicare in their bill.

Here’s what you could say to the staff member who answers the phone:

My name is ______ and I live in ______.

I’m calling because I want you to strengthen and expand Medicare in the final budget resolution bill.

Specifically, I want you to include three things:

1. I want you to lower the Medicare eligibility age to at least 60
2. I want you to include dental, vision, and hearing coverage in Medicare and cap out-of-pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries
3. And I want you to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices

Please support these three priorities to make Medicare stronger and help the millions of people who are struggling under the crippling costs of prescription drugs and health care. 

Now is the time to deliver the real relief we need, improve this critical program, and help everyone recover from the pandemic.
