San Antonio’s city-owned electric and gas utility — CPS Energy — is searching to fill a vacancy on its five-member Board of Trustees. CPS Energy faces several challenges in the near future as it deals with mounting bills from Winter Storm Uri, re-starting disconnections for non-payment, a proposed rate hike and the need to address the climate crisis by charting a path to clean energy
We support Dr. Adelita Cantu as the next CPS trustee. Dr. Cantu’s extensive experience in nursing, education and public health give her a valuable perspective on the lives and well-being of San Antonio residents.
Please email the San Antonio City Council and CPS Energy Board of Trustees to show your support for Dr. Adelita Cantu.
