Bloody Sunday Anniversary Action to Defend Democracy

In 2021 — 56 years after Bloody Sunday and the subsequent passage of the Voting Rights Act — Republican state legislators are rushing ferociously and with blatantly racist intent to make it much more difficult to vote.

The entire purpose of these bills is to make it harder for people of color to vote.

We have to build enough political power to force the Senate to pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, filibuster or no.
