Issues believed to originate at a plant owned by Abbott Nutrition, the nation’s largest baby formula manufacturer, have created a baby formula crisis in America.

No one company should have such power over an essential product like baby formula.

Congress must take action to promote competition and stop further consolidation in the baby formula market and beyond:

It’s dangerous for four companies to control almost the entire baby formula market. As we’ve seen this year, problems at one of them mean millions of American families are at their mercy.

You must pass legislation to promote competition, crack down on anti-competitive mergers, and reduce the influence of large companies over our lives.
